IGNITE delegation presents at LISA Forum Asia
A delegation from the IGNITE consortium recently presented an overview of the project at the LISA Forum Asia conference held in Beijing, China. As well as being on hand to ask questions and distribute IGNITE material, the party gave a detailed overview of the project and the IGNITE Factory system.

IGNITE holds another successful Contact Group Meeting held in Dublin
On 7 February 2007, the IGNITE Consortium held a contact group meeting in the Westin Hotel in Dublin city centre.

IGNITE Consortium meeting will be held in Limerick, Ireland (28-29 November 2006)
The 5th IGNITE consortium meeting took place in the offices of the LRC in the University of Limerick, Co. Limerick on the 28th and 29th of November 2006.

IGNITE Consortium meeting held in Ballina, Ireland (18-19 May 2006)
The 4th IGNITE consortium meeting took place in the offices of LiobBridge (VeriTest) in Ballina, Co. Mayo on the 17th and 18th of May 2006. The IGNITE consortium reviewed progress made and planned for the third semester of the IGNITE project.

IGNITE Contact Group meeting held in Dublin, Ireland (17 May 2006)
The second IGNITE contact group meeting took place in the Westin hotel in Dublin on the 17th May 2006. There was great interest shown in this meeting with 21 people registering for the half day discussions on the IGNITE project.

IGNITE Verification Group meeting held in Dublin (8 March 2006)
This was the second meeting arranged to focus on the verification activities and WP3 in general. The participants were Florian Sachse, Ian Daly, Rory Gallagher, Owen McNamara, Kevin Bargary, Michael Bourke and Reinhard Schäler. The meeting was, of course open to all consortium members; however, their attendance was not absolutely necessa

IGNITE Consortium meeting held in Athens, Greece (19-20 January 2006)
The IGNITE Consortium held its third meeting on 19-20 January 2006 at the offices of Archetypon in Athens. In attendance were Annette Lee (VU Games), Eithne Hagan (VU Games), Rory Gallagher (VeriTest), Eoin McNamara (Lionbridge), Florian Sachse (PASS Engineering), George Kordelis (Archetypon), Eleni Vraki (Archetypon), Reinhard Schaler (LRC), and Thomas Keogan (LRC). Good progress was made at the meeting, especially in the area of Standards Verification (Workpackage 3). An IGNITE social event took place in Kallithea on the evening of January 19th and was enjoyed by all.

IGNITE First Working Conference on Localisation Standards Verification was held in Dublin on 14-15 December 2005.
This working conference was by invitation only to the IGNITE Contact Group (email Lrc@ul.ie to join the IGNITE Contact Group).

IGNITE Consortium meeting held in Dublin, Ireland (15-16 September 2005)
The IGNITE Consortium held its second meeting on 15-16 September 2005 at the offices of Vivendi Universal Games in Dublin. In attendance were Annette Lee (VU Games), Eithne Hagan (VU Games), Deirdre Farrell (VeriTest), Florian Sachse (PASS Engineering), Andreas Papadakis (Archetypon) , Reinhard Schaler (LRC), Michael Bourke (LRC), Karl Kelly (LRC), and Thomas Keogan (LRC). Patrick Gannon (OASIS) was a guest attendee. Considerable progress was made over the two days and a framework was developed that forms the basis of the project work for the next two to three months. On the evening of September 15th an enjoyable IGNITE social event was held in the scenic Dublin suburb of Howth.
